Yeni dijital yayın platformu Exxen başarılı olur mu? Bu aslında gündemde olan ve sorulan bir soru ve bu sorunun cevabı da çok merak ediliyor. Türkiye’de dijital yayın yapan 6-7 civarında dijital platform var ve bu platformlar pazardan pay almaya çalışıyor. Dijital platformlardan en bilineni Puhu TV’ydi ve çok fazla reklam yaparak, zamanında kendini çok iyi bir şekilde tanıttı. Puhu TV’de yayınlanan Pi gibi diziler çok büyük başarı sağladı ve o dönem platform adından çok söz ettirdi.
Yukarıda bahsettiğimiz Puhu TV’nin hedef kitlesi, televizyon dizilerini izleyen hedef kitleydi ve Prime Time dizi izleyicilerini hedefleyen Puhu TV özellikle genç hedef kitleyi kendine ana hedef kitle olarak belirledi. Ardından, Blu TV, Mubi, Gain ve sonrasında ise Netflix ve Amazon Prime gibi uluslar arası oyuncular pazara girdi. Daha önce TV8’i satın alan ve survivor yarışmalarını düzenleyen Acun Ilıca dijital yayın sektörüne girmeye karar verdi ve Exxen isimli yeni bir platform kurdu ve yayına başladı.
Exxen’in aylık ücreti 9,90 TL olarak açıklandı ve bu ücret rakiplere baktığımızda oldukça makul bir ücret. Fakat Exxen’in karşısında fiyat konusunda oldukça rekabetçi bir dijital kanal ve oluşum var, o da Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime’ın aylık ücreti 7 TL ve bu ücrete hem dijital yayın platformu dahil; hem de Amazon.com.tr’den satın aldığınız ürünleri hızlı ve kargo ücreti ödemeden teslim alabiliyorsunuz. Bu noktada Exxen’in ciddi rakipleri var bu bu iş planıyla Exxen ne kadar başarılı olacak soru işareti?
Exxen’in en büyük 2 uluslar arası rakibi var, bu da Amazon Prime ve Netflix. Bu iki platform varken tüketiciler Exxen’i tercih eder mi, gerçekten bu büyük bir soru işareti ve bu soru işaretini gidermek için ufak bir araştırma yaptık. Tüketicilerin bazıları platformdaki dizilerin ve içeriklerin ne olacağını merak ediyor ve içeriklere göre üye olup olmayacaklarına karar vereceklerini belirtiyorlar. Exxen’in karşısında Netflix gerçeği var ve Netflix’in içerik oluşturmak için 2020 yılında ayırdığı bütçe 15-20 milyar dolar arası bir rakam ve bu rakama baktığımızda, birçok devletin bütçesinden bile fazla. Netflix sürekli içerik üretiyor ve en sevilen diziler, filmler Netflix’te. Dijital yayın platformlarının en önemli tercih sebebi, tabi ki içerik. Eğer bir platform iyi içerikler sunuyorsa; o platform tercih ediliyor ve içeriklerin kalitesi de sürekliliği de çok önemli. Dizilerin tamamlanamaması ve yayından kaldırılması platforma zarar verebiliyor.
Tüm bu verileri dikkate aldığımızda, Exxen platformunun başarılı olması için 1 milyar dolar bir yatırım yapması ve içerik üretmesi gerekiyor ki başarılı olsun. Peki Türkiye’de böyle bir bütçe var mı? Bir de oyuncu kalitesi ve bu dizilerin beğenilebileceği de büyük bir soru işareti. Yeni platform herkese hayırlı olsun; fakat bu verileri dikkate aldığımızda Exxen TV’nin çok zorlanacağı öngörülüyor. Yine de bir Türk girişimi ve başarılı olmasını çok istiyoruz, bu noktada gelecekte belki Netflix’in alternatifi olabilir diye platformu destekliyoruz.
